Archery at Fort Wilderness

READY - AIM - ARCHERY - It takes a steady hand to land that bull's-eye at the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience. Archery Guides lead Guests through a short training session on how to hold a compound bow and release an arrow into a range target. They offer tips and tricks to participants ages 7 and up as they try to hit that coveted bull's-eye during target shooting.

Bicycling

Ride along tree-lined paths, through lush meadows, past tranquil canals and more. Both adult and children's bikes are available, and a number of children's bikes have training wheels. Bikes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and helmets and child seats are complimentary with bike rentals.

Surrey Bikes - Choose a 2-person, 4-person or 6-person Surrey bike for an outing that's fun for the whole family! Don't miss your chance to cruise along the banks of the Sassagoula River, pedal down the promenade by Barefoot Bay, or wheel around a woodland pathway—rental locations include: Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Miniature Golf

Disney's Winter Summerland - This interactive miniature golf experience is fun for the whole family. The whimsical courses feature two wacky 18-hole adventures. The Winter Course features an ice castle and a trip to the North Hole. In the Summer Course, experience fun in the sun with a visit to Santa on the Winternet. Both courses provide exhilarating family entertainment. Location: directly in front of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

Disney's Fantasia Gardens- Delight in two 18-hole miniature golf adventures based on Disney's classic animated film Fantasia. Perfect for families and beginner golfers, the 18-hole Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course invites you to join the reverie as you aim through twirling obstacles, cross fanciful fountains and discover musical surprises.

Resembling a traditional golf course built on a miniature scale, the 18-hole Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course emphasizes skill over chance. Sand traps, bunkers, water hazards and sloping greens make the course an exciting challenge, where par-3 and par-5 holes range in length from 63 to 109 feet long. Location: in the Epcot Resort area

Tennis Take "advantage" of any of several lit courts you'll "love" playing on, whatever your skill level.

Play the French way on clay courts at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, hit balls around on hard courts or just work on your serve.

Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are generally accessible from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., though hours may vary by location and courts may occasionally be booked for lessons or events. Appropriate tennis attire and shoes are required.

Any Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel may access the tennis courts, and equipment can be obtained using your MagicBand or a valid Resort ID. Disney Vacation Club members may check out equipment free of charge; for all other Guests, an associated fee applies.

  • Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort - 2 hard courts adjacent to Bay Lake Tower; check out equipment at Community Hall or Boat Nook Marina

  • Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas & Kidani Village - Half court located near shuffleboard and basketball courts; check out equipment at Community Hall

  • Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas - 2 courts adjacent to Community Hall; check out equipment at Community Hall

  • Disney's Old Key West Resort - 2 courts near the main pool, one on Old Turtle Pond Road; check out equipment at Conch Flats Community Hall or Hank's Rent 'N Return

  • Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa - 2 clay courts located in the sports courts area; check out equipment at Community Hall or Horsing Around Rentals

  • Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts - Court located near Admiral Pool; check out equipment at Ship Shape Health Club

  • Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Hotels - 4 hard courts across from Walt Disney World Swan Hotel; check out equipment at Dolphin Health Club or Swan Health Club

Tennis Lessons Elevate your game with clinics taught by tennis pros and tailored to your playing ability.

Tri-Circle-D Ranch The Tri-Circle-D Ranch, located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, offers a variety of recreational activities for the entire family.

Trail Rides - 45 minute guided trail rides through a wooded portion of the resort. Riders must be at least 9 years old and at least 48 inches in height. Rider weight limit is 250 pounds. Reservations may be made up to 90 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY or your Travel Agent.

Pony Rides - Pony rides are offered daily from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. near Pioneer Hall at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Riders must be at least 2 years of age, under 80 pounds, no taller than 48 inches and able to hang on by themselves.

Carriage Rides - Take in a beautiful scenic landscape on a timeless journey with a 25-minute carriage ride. Select from 2 routes: Ride through the lush pine and cypress trees of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, or travel along the charming pathways of Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside and the banks of the Sassagoula River. The carriage holds 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 small children. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY or your Travel Agent.

Holiday Sleigh Rides - Take in the magic of the holidays with a cozy "sleigh" ride through secluded woodland beauty. Decorated with lights and garlands, these "sleighs" are available during the month of December. Holiday Sleigh Rides depart from the main entrance of Crockett's Tavern at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and fit up to 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 small children). Each horse-drawn holiday sleigh ride trots along for 25 minutes. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or your Travel Agent.

Wagon Rides - Take an old-fashioned, horse-drawn wagon ride which offers a 25-minute scenic tour around the resort. Rides depart at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. nightly. Reservations are not accepted as rides are given on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Group Wagon Rides - Group wagon rides (for 30 to 35 Guests) are 45 minutes and are available with 24-hour notice by calling (407) 824-2832 or your Travel Agent.

Wilderness Back Trail Segways Adventure Challenge yourself to the "Wilderness Back Trail Adventure" at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, where you will experience first hand a Segway X2 Personal Transporter. Before you head out, you'll receive approximately 30 minutes of instruction and practice time. You'll also be outfitted with a safety helmet and an electronic earpiece.

Navigate a variety of surfaces from paved paths to woodland trails as you complete a 2-hour circuit that includes stops at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the stables of Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and glassy Bay Lake, where photo ops abound. Your guide will share trivia, anecdotes and instructions along the way. Please note: Construction may alter the normal route of this tour.

Only a portion of the tour may be cancelled due to inclement weather. The first portion of the tour will be held in a covered pavilion, rain or shine.
